Book,Present,Origin

Today we're gonna learn a basic kanji (Japanese Character)I'm thinking about one character a day so it will be more focus and not stressful:)This all about sharing my knowledge for those who want to learn one at a time bases Japanese kanji tutorial. This may not everything but is may help you to understand easily.if you have suggestion, please feel free to let me know:)

so first we're gonna talk about this 本 character.

HON-This character is one of the most common kanji in daily use. It is usually use as BOOK-HON,
or Counter of long things like sticks or pole. when you want to say 7 sticks you want to say NANA-HON.
NANA means number 7 and and HON. or 1 stick=IP-PONG.now don't confuse with HONG and PONG.
the reading may depend on the situation.remember if this character together with the numbers is it talking how many long thing like stick . when this is associated with another character the meaning will change.
It is also use as ORIGIN, SOURCE, REAL. Japan=NIP-PONG(日本)、the SUN and the ORIGIN character together makes JAPAN as word.for now you can just see it as BOOK.:)have a nice day.

 how to read:

本:(HON)(PONG)

meaning:

  本:(Book,Pressent,Main,True,Real)(Counter for long things; ex:sticks)(root ,origin,source)
